About Shirley Reynolds, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Dr. Shirley D. Reynolds, DNP, is the primary owner of Aceso Medical Clinic in Coos Bay, Oregon. She is a Doctorate degree-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner. Board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Dr. Reynolds is a DNP specializing in primary care and has worked in several areas, such as long-term care, emergency medicine, brain and spinal injury, medical surgery, academia, and rural health. Dr. Reynolds is completing her Postgraduate Psychiatric Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Frontier Nursing University. She obtained her Registered Nurse Degree from Chicago City College in Chicago, Illinois. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)in Health Care System Leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Chicago, Illinois. She has worked in the medical field for 33 years, from Certified Nursing Assistant to Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Reynolds, DNP, is passionate about serving the Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon community.

Speaking of the Coos Bay/ North Bend, Oregon community, Dr. Reynolds is not a Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon native but has lived here since 2016. She relocated to Oregon from Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Reynolds has genuinely fallen in love with the coast of Oregon. Dr. Reynolds prays to be a positive force within the community and provide her patients with the best care.
On a personal note, Dr. Shirley D. Reynolds is the proud mother of 5 beautiful adult children. As once a busy working mom, she understands the meaning of hard work and dedication. Her passion lies in caring for patients and helping them to reach their optimal health. When not seeing patients, Dr. Reynolds enjoys spending time with her Fiancé, Bruce, daughter Leila, and their three fur babies. Duke, Lulu, and Rizzo. She also enjoys rooting on her favorite Baseball team, The Chicago Cubs, exercising/weightlifting, attending Oregon Ducks football games, and traveling.

Dr. Reynolds is excited to continue to grow within the community.
